I'm Evelyn (she/her), a writer and grad student at the intersection of cultural analysis and everyday life: why media resonates, what community norms reveal, how the infrastructure we build reflects the world we want or fear losing.

My background is in anthropology and information science, which means I bring close reading and a healthy suspicion of tidy narratives to everything I write.

I've spent fifteen years as a FOSS user and believe technology should be legible and accountable to everyone, not just the people who own it.
