Hello, and welcome ✨

I’m Doby — a transgender and neurodivergent software engineer working where reliability, accessibility, and thoughtful design meet. I build the kind of tooling that quietly stops things from going wrong: validation systems, clearer error messages, and configurations that are easier for people to reason about.

Most of my work is open and out in the world. I contribute to the European Space Agency’s Pyxel detector-simulation framework — where I built Pyxel Config Lab, a guided YAML configuration system released in Pyxel 2.14 — and I’m a merged contributor to GitLab core, across backend hardening, input validation, and permission boundaries. I’ve also published browser extensions focused on cognitive accessibility, because making documentation kinder to read matters to me personally.

My approach is shaped as much by lived experience as by training. As a neurodivergent technologist, I care deeply about clarity, sustainability, and inclusion in the systems I help build. This page exists to support that ongoing open-source and community work, so I can keep contributing at a sustainable pace while I learn, grow, and share useful outcomes.
